Acceptance and Appreciation
Two types of people may benefit from this view of philosophy and spirituality:
Those who feel lost and disappointed with the past, and those who are excited
by new ideas and possibilities. Each of these will be taken in order so that
the first group might find new outlooks on life with inner peace and genuineness
while the second group may enjoy some new imaginations and possibilities.
We'll start fresh with these basic simplicities: (1) The Unique Needs we have
as individuals; (2) The Shared Needs we have in society, and (3) The Imposed
Needs that are required by the laws of nature. Perhaps in balancing these
common denominators we may foster a more mutually beneficial world.
In this effort, Acceptance and Appreciation will help build the relationships
with ourselves, others, earth, and if desired - God: Acceptance as a guide for
embracing those realities we can't change, and Appreciation as a guide for
embracing those realities we can.
